We had Veteran's Day Celebration at our church and ended with the pledge. I was in the pulpit and it hurt like hell for me to stand. Outside of this one time I have not stood for the pledge this year.

I was thinking about that this morning. That flag and the national anthem do not represent POC or any other nationality.
They both, like the confederate flag represent racism and non tolerance for any non white person.
For those who join the military they join for many different reasons, but I don't believe the main reason is for a song and a piece of cloth. More so the ideas that the flag and anthem should represent and for the PEOPLE to choose to stand or sit for either.
