My "son" is on the Washington Redskins roster. Not sure if he's activated each week or not but he did play in their game two weeks ago.

John Simon...2nd year/Louisiana Tech...Southern Lab High...Baton Rouge Bandits (the same youth league that produced fellow NFLer Gerald Sowell...whom I did not coach).

Also not listed (on injured reserve)...born in Texas but played in La.

I wonder if Suge and D-Nice saw that......

:snicker:

Umm let me see. Georgia's population is like twice that of Louisiana and you guys can only put 20 more players in the league... :p:

Damn there's a lot of talent in this state.

^^^^^^^^^^^
I was thinking the same about Mississippi. For a state that has only a little over 2 million people, if it's that many, being 10th in ACTIVE NFL PLAYERS says a lot about the talent here too.

Dayum, Cali is leading the way. I had no idea that a lot are from local schools in the L.A. area.
Dorsey High has a lot, they went into the semi-finals of the City Championship undefeated and got beat. They have been a powerhouse for years. I have a cousin that played with Keyshawn...he just finished doing 6 yrs. in a different "league".

TBJ, did open the thread based on per capita didn't he?

Mighty Hornet with your 20 more players in the NFL, it didn't add up to a hill of beans, after LSU kicked UGA's arse twice, and down right embarassed the hell of them in their own backyard.

College is the true indicator of one's home talent, and frankly your best home grown talent, couldn't do schit against ours. Just be happy our population isn't that of UGA's, and you'd see the true difference.

Oh, when Peyton Manning wins the MVP this year, ask those 20 extra players what happened.

LOL at that.:D

NICE

Best QB in the NFL.

Ask ol Vick about him. He had a chance to watch him do his thang recently. :D

BTW, His little brother ain't all that bad either.
