10 Best Albums in the last 10 Years (Rank'em)

A lot of my favorites that I would put in the top 10 are already listed. Besides, it's so hard to decide with the "neo-soul movement". Looking back at a lot of the albums listed, there were a lot of young folks doing neo-soul before it became a popular trend. I based my top ten on CDs that I have listened to over and over and ones that have become classics to me. I can't see my collection without them.

I love Northern Tiger's list with Incognito and Brand New Heavies.

Too hard to rank:

Will Downing - any of his albums, but my favorite is Sensual Journey, followed by Pleasures of the Night with Gerald Albright.

Angie Stone - Black Diamonds

Love Jones soundtrack

Hezekiah Walker - Live in Atlanta at Morehouse (wore this CD out...one of the first CDs that I bought back in '94, along with Mary J's My Life. I was slow to the CD movement!!)

Norman Brown - Just Chillin'

Kem - Kemistry

Anthony Hamilton - Coming Where I'm Coming From

Joe Sample featuring Lalah Hathaway

Kirk Franklin and the Family

Paul Jackson, Jr. - The Power of the String
