Official ‘Venom’ Thread


Well this will certainly appeal to movie goes not fimilar with the character. But for those of us who follow the comic industry, this is a let down. A lot of those stand alone Venom books minus Spider-man didn't do so well, I think one that did do well is Agent Venom, where Eddie Brock and Venom work together where Venom is basically a hero. Plus there is no Venom without Spider-man.

To get Agent Venom, you're gonna need Flash Thompson. Can't have Flash Thompson without Spidey. Plus Flash's transition from war hero to Agent Venom could work in lines of movies like Billy Long's Long Halftime Walk, Zero Dark Thirty, etc.

The hatred toward this teaser trailer is hilarious! Folks are mad because the only glimpse of Venom or rather the symbiote was a shot of it in a sealed containment system. Other than that people are saying that this could have been a teaser trailer for anything.

What they're supposed to do, give away the whole movie? It's just an initial tease. They still probably got a little bit of touching up to do before theatrical release.
