The movie etc..... See what they are failing to realize is that in the 80s during the years of the "Cocaine Cowboys" you had all types of content to assist. From my understanding Michael Mann utilized real "Cocaine Cowboys" as extras and consultants to make the show realistic. So much so that real Miami/Dade under covers were on seat and following the dealers when they left. Also, the stars of the show were kinda like The Rat Pack and their association with the mob.
All that is true what you said Founder. Mann even helped bring Miami back by revitalizing a lot of those places. but I got the box set DVD. I enjoyed that show from the first episode when they broke out this scene here....
