Texas Southern signs Mississippi State basketball transfer Jethro Tshisumpa

In the Bible wasn't Jethro a king (Midianites if memory serves me correctly) and Moses' father-in-law? Just asking....:)

The chief priest of the Midianites. True that he was Moses father-in-law, but not a believer in the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob. It is a noble name because Jethro worshipped another God(s), but yet respected the belief of his son-in-law Moses, and thus was not a hindrance to God's plan for Moses. The name Jethro means "his excellency". That may explain why some believe he was a King of the Midianites.

You brought out the Sunday School teacher in me...lol!

We love football transfers at Grambling

I believe you all may be on the extremely short list of never winning a SWAC Tourney Basketball Championship. You can walk and chew bubble gum though I haven't seen a law stating this....
