It should be there in 2-3 weeks. So the movie is by far not a flop. It dropped 50% at the box office in week two. If it drops 50% week 3 and hold steady week 4 the 40M number will be there (assuming the 40M is the golden parachute).

The new Tyler Perry film, Acrimony which released nationwide on the 29th March 2018 and opened with a total box office of over R2,8 million. The film ranked at number 3 on the weekend Top 10 for the period 30 March – 1 April 2018 and resulted in it having the biggest opening weekend result for any Tyler Perry film released in South Africa to date!
