A Houston Independent School District police officer admitted in court on Wednesday to having an improper relationship with a 14-year-old student while employed at Cullen Middle School in 2015. Jacob Ryan Delgadillo, 30, entered the plea as a part of a deal that allows him to get off with only five years probation and will not require him to register as a sex offender. If he completes his probation without incident, Delgadillo will not show a conviction on his record. Should he violate the terms of his parole within the five-year period, his deal would be gone and he could face the full 20 years in prison.
