When have Liberal policies ever worked???
People who live in states that voted for Donald Trump are at a 50% higher risk of dying from COVID-19.

When have Liberal policies ever worked???
Understand something a lot of those polices work. However the lack of a check and balance to make sure they are properly enforced is not there.

Look at what the article points out

“Proposition 47 has bolstered criminals because they know that if they are caught stealing the consequences are minimal,” said Mark Powell, a former reserve police officer in San Diego, in a recent opinion article in the Times of San Diego.

McBride said that in recent weeks he has caught many suspects entering the prices of stolen items into their telephone calculators so as not to go over $950 for a one-time robbery.

Your criminals have gotten SMARTER.
“With this guy’s history, with prison priors, he absolutely should still be in jail,” said McBride “He should have gotten a longer sentence. For his rap sheet and the violent crimes he’s been involved in, he should never have been offered a plea bargain.”

Your judges have gotten WEAK. Amber Gyer & Michael Dunn (who killed Jordan Davis) will spend more time in jail than some black guys who have killed black folks in some states.

My beef isn't with the policies. It's the people that put them in place. I will advise anybody to visit to California, and see why people are leaving for other states.

Conservatives always use California as some sort of cautionary tale about liberal politics while often ignoring that people who live in “other states” —particularly poor people and minorities — are often hindered by conservative policies that leave them with less access to quality health care, education and quality of life.

Take Mississippi for example, it’s governor is hell bent on elimination of abortion in the state while failing to address that the state has the highest infant mortality rate in the country.

And 2 out of 3 of the kids there live in poverty. Shit is pathetic. The thing about this and all of those smash and grab incidents that are going on in the Bay area is that it's giving them all the justification they need to put some harsh ass prison laws in place. These cats running up in stores 100 deep just taking what they want and riding off. They've started robbing dispensaries in Oakland and the store owners are asking the state for help, black owned stores included. Don't be surprised when some draconian laws drop out there. As liberal as Cali is, they still have one of the harshest gun ownership policies in the country solely as a result of the black panthers arming themselves.

People are leaving for the same reason they're leaving NYC. They're some of the most expensive places to live in the US and you can get far more bang for your buck in the midwest and in the south. Texas population is exploding even as backwards as their politicians are because it's cheap.

What's funny, people talk shyt about Alabama. But, the cost-of-living is not bad.

Another blue state.

Jackson, Mississippi????
White on white crime is at 84%. That's a huge number for such a large population. Yes we can say well black on black crime is 90%. Now let's be real is we use the small percentage method that means with black folks being a smaller population like you conservative folks like to us that means the average black person shyts more than white people. The average black person does everything more than white people.

What's the average health and life expectancy of folks in Alabama vs blue states with better education and health care?

First, try reading this article critically. This article conflates smash-and-grab robberies with violent home invasions. It implies that there is some connection between an increase in the dollar amount of nonviolent robberies to investigate and this guy being out on probation. The article clearly states that the guy wasn't in touch with his PO. So, it was the probation office who should have gone after him. The smash and grab stuff is just a straw man argument that the rw uses to blame BLM and whoever else they hate whenever a black man commits a high visibility crime...like that guy who ran over folks at the parade.

"The 29-year-old was no stranger to the criminal justice system, records show. He was sentenced to a five-year prison term in 2013 for second degree robbery and inflicting bodily harm, according to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.

And he recently served a four-year sentence for second-degree robbery with enhancements for a previous felony and was released on supervised parole on Sept.

Many are blaming the recent statewide spike in crime, including a spate of looting, on the criminal justice reforms, including Proposition 47, a 2014 law that is intended to keep non violent criminals out of crowded prisons and treat low level criminals with more compassion."

I want to get down to the Logistics of the matter. Why did this grown man turn to crime like so many young black men? I'm willing to bet he didn't have no positive male guidance to guide him into manhood.

In which. Where did feminism come from, my friend? Liberal white women.

We brag about the liberals/democrats being for black people. But, they hurt us more than helped us.

We can't get to the logistics of why this or that because any effort to learn and help those in need gets demonized...and liberals get blamed.

It's said that history repeats itself because those who learned lessons from some struggle eventually die off and the generations that follow lose their connection to that struggle.

That's why teaching/learning your history is so important and why there are those who are fighting this...and then we'll repeat our past IMO.

Bingo

A regular house in LA costing $1-$2 mil is madness.

ATL is the current hotpsot (accelerated gentrification and all) with Nashville flying under the radar growing rapidly. Memphis is going to be next with "them" starting the process of buying up land in and around the city. Dolph (RIP) owned 100 properties in the Memphis area so he was ahead of the game

Jackson, Mississippi will be on the gentrification list real soon.

Black people are have to take on a 'Jim Crow Mentality' to move along better in the country. No, we are never going have equality, or the same as white people. But, we can strive to set better expectations, and paint a better picture for ourselves in this country.

- Mrwiregrass, you come on this board and the onnidan fans board, posting crap all the time. In the past posters have asked you, since you're so conservative and you want to tell black people what to do!: exactly what in your power have you done to push blacks to do better, or have a better quality of life?

Here is another answer: Univeresal K-12.

One of California's is probably Prop 13 in the funding of schools. (Passed in 1987 at the urging of conservativs.) Schools are not adequately funded to get the resources they need. The nation to a large extent is still following the lead of its former govrnor, Ronald Reagan.
