Yes but when you playing slaw teams you look better...You have Tillery and Quinn add the Maynard kid and they make a lot of plays. Defense is playing lights out but the true test have yet to come. And we are not one of them...

The reasons why we lost:
2nd Quarter fumble on the first play with under 3:00 left which led to JSU scoring the go ahead TD
A wasted 4th Quarter drive after Jarman (who most agree probably should be starting now) drove Valley down to the 13 yard line and we had the wrong Jacquemin brother kicking for us.
I don't know if that game was good defense or bad offense (Valley: we wanna throw but O-line can't block. Jarman/Rubin makes more sense with this line JSU: Was running the ball well in the 2nd and 3rd quarter but went away from it and decided to throw the ball until the very last drive)

The way the East is looking now it's looking like it realistically could happen. They will lose to PV and SU but no reason to not think they can't beat ASU, AAMU or even Alcorn. 5-4 could win the East.
Valley is through.

Dont get anything confused. We not losing to ANY EAST teams. Valley plays JSU tough. They had Casey Therreault to 10 points in regulation. They LIVE to beat JSU. We always look our worst vs them.
As for SUx. You gonna get yours offensively... but JSU is not gonna let Tillery run all over us. and your defense ain't that good.
We do need out HC to put some sense into Germany's head about running the ball more but other than that... we good.
Some of the things we have been doing are just for this SU game.
We also gonna beat PV.
