I would give Jackson State, Southern, Grambling, Alcorn and maybe even AAMU and shot at Charlotte, Georgia State, Army, Eastern Michigan, UMass, Idaho and maybe Texas State.

The problem is that SWAC schools don't do any research before calling or receiving calls for paydays.

They get better players lol plus they have 20 EXTRA scholarships to give to the numerous 3* + players. We don't stand a chance really. We MAY have a shot if we combined the best players from all swac teams and make a super team which is impossible just like us beating even horrible fbs teams. It is what it is. From the swac champs to swac cellar dwellers, we won't win lol

Glad we lasted at least a half against their starters. But like I said last week. None of these games will be close.

All I'm saying is if your gonna take a ass whipping for a check, schedule a FBS that you can get at least a couple qtrs of football in before shat get out of hand before the FBS numbers game catch up to you.

We got our ass kicked like everyone else but at least the score was not 400-0 after 1 qtr. We did scratch them bitches for 2 qtrs. Lol
 
After what I witnessed last year, I will take what I saw for two qtrs against any SWAC team for 4 qtrs.

We need to clean up some stuff but for now, I will take it. We all knew we were gonna get smoked in the end in all these games.

Jsu didn't do shit. How the hell u look and score 14 and second half just do nothing. They need a new S&C coach. Hands on your damn hip a lil to early. They just fell apart. Ivy my azz. HJ my azz. Now I see why 75 percent of Jsu fans are wanting HJ to leave. Add 6 more people to that list. I saw signs of greatness Last night but to just run out of gas like that So early was some BS. Where in the hell was the blitz. Why in the hell did Ivy stay in game 70-14 all the way till 3 minutes left in 4th quarter ??? At least see if ur 2nd QB can give the team a spark !!!!

Dude, they did fine for what it's worth. Coulda been alot worse if you wana be honest. I just think your expectations were way too high for this game. You were the only person on here saying we would beat MTSU. Not like this is a SWAC game and they didn't improve lol. Chill.
 
Say what you want but Jsu scared to play JM because if tHey did Ivy will never see the field again. And they know that and that's why HJ will not play that boy at all. Yall save this message Cause when JM see the field I bet you he become the starter !!! You just can't throw to one WR. The receivers will never be comforable if you only throw to Willams. SPREAD THE DAMN BALL AROUND .
 
Why was ivy in the game? Why were their starters in the game until the fourth quarter? Lmaooo stop it. We weren't going to win that game period. We stopped scoring in the second half bc they shut down our RBs and we were one dimensional. We threatened to score in the fourth, we were on their 20 yd line and a miscommunication led to a pick 6. That drive would've given us 21 points. We turned the ball over less than they did and their "all american " safety and four star LSU DB were non factors for our receivers. Their front seven and OL were MEAN but that's it. Ivy put up 14 points and I can promise you morikawa wouldn't have done that.

And you right Jsu is meant for the swac. Even they damn fans are swac minded. I see why a lot of Jsu fans think different than me. All they care about is just do fine in the swac. WOW. I like to be competitive . Not just win no damn swac.

My problem was with our coaches. Keep in mind I'm a HJ supporter but yesterday they made some bad calls. But a lot of people wouldn't understand what I'm saying because they didn't expect Jsu to win anyway but I did.

I didn't expect y'all to win but I was expecting a more competitive game.

mTSU will probably finish in the middle of the pack in their conference if not lower.

Listening to the mTSU commentators; they sounded as if they were expecting a tougher fight out of JSU as well.

We are breaking in a new QB as well but I think we will be just fine come SHC time.
 
I have to agree with JO. Your Starting QB should not be in the game down 70-14. It will not make him better because there is a 99.9% probability he will not face another team IN ALL PHASES OF THE GAME as good.

And JO is also right in wanting constant improvement. It is the little things that make a big difference between winning and losing a ballgame.

MTSU will do just enough to go to a bowl imo. Their pass defense is trash tho. I expect Bama to slaughter them as well as Marshall.
