transfer U? : Isaiah Crowell Effect

Re: ASU football's 'Isaiah Crowell effect' bringing in talented Division I-A transfer

This dude is constantly hating on ASU. Every time he post something it has to be negative

Re: ASU football's 'Isaiah Crowell effect' bringing in talented Division I-A transfer

These kids will learn that you can go anywhere and as long as you put up the numbers and the conference that you're playing in is up to par, They can still go to the Draft...

Other Swac schools will bring in talent and you will begin to see the whole conference have games on T.V.

Now we just gotta start marketing our schools more better than what we are doing now so...It's time to step this part of the game up..
It definitely helps that we had four seniors to play in a All Star game this year

You really hate Bama State huh?

+1. Bama St is doing what I'd hope our PV would have done :(. All it takes is for rhe word and name to spread amongst the few and wala!!!! Also, if there is a dominating performance both IC and esp OOC vs the "named" schools, I see nothing but success in the recruiting dept. Hats off to Bama St for showing the rest of the SWAC, like us at PV, how it gets done: new facilities and upper echelon student-athletes.

We all need talent. I see Barlow sees that. While most of the list is kinda "blah", 3-4 of those guys look like they will make some noise...especially some of those linemen.
..and how did they come to MS and get a lineman from Co-Lin. Dude is from Meadville..which is Alcorn country. JSU does not typically recruit from Co-Lin becasue of the grades of the kids in that program are generally terrible but if he had the grades, I am sure JSU would have taken him.

But if Jsu has won one championship in 16 years no one is trying to follow their model or seeking advice. I am just saying!

when you invest in your program, others see that and are attracted to it

I c/s this post...this has become more of a business type setup..it's not all about scoring TDs and X's and O's so much...it's more so about "marketing" your brand better than the next school...

I think State is getting the picture and seeing the bigger picture and they are now tryin to follow the formula...Keep this up and I see State becoming the LSU in our conference...Getting big tyme recruits..being the school to attend, building their brand...but never winning shat with the talent they bring in LOL...I mean it's a good model to follow..Look at how LSU is now..

But if Jsu has won one championship in 16 years no one is trying to follow their model or seeking advice. I am just saying!

Well Barlow is getting the best D1 talent around. He can't match us in North Alabama for the best NAIA and D3 talent available. We are so proud of our coach. Gotta love it.

I cant believe ya'll keep being fooled by this AlaState okey doke.. :smh:

lol@ jrock. I didn't understand your response and I am sure bigjughead didn't either but I am sure it was a joke in there somewhere.

the only thing I can say about Bama St is they have a nice stadium....they've done nothing outside of that, and when was the last time SU was relevant?

Just have a winning season for once. I knew this would not take long.

Now back to this Transfer U thing.
Keep both eyes and a sense of smell on this. Trust JSU. We know a thing or two about having too many transfers on a team year after year.

Comegy stayed in that D2 trap mentality until 2010 when the NCAA lowered the APR boom on us.

Re: Bama St loaded up on transfers huh?

Now, those O-linemen have me intrigued. Good pickup, Barlow.

Re: Bama St loaded up on transfers huh?

Great pick up. Barlow has some size at the OL position.

Re: Bama St loaded up on transfers huh?

Quick Fix Transfer U...I have seen this story before!

Yep.

Saw this guy get shuffled in and out as USM's QB of the week for 2 years. Didn't really show anything. The new coach at USM told him he was gonna have to move to Tight End. He was gone the next day.
