I have a reputation to up hold. I don't do ugly and out of shape. Nope, nada, not the kid. You must have long hair, pretty face, nice teeth, nice shape and sexy in dresses, skirts and pants!!!! Yes, I am superficial. Dr.GSUAKA93 can have my baby and pay check any day. That is one fine, beautiful woman!!!!!
 
so although we espouse these lofty ideas and ideals, about good men and good women what it
really comes down to is, does this person turn me on, and/or can they write the checks?

Well, I would say men are more visual, while women seek more depth. I, however, am in no position to go after a fine, fine, fine woman. Totally outta my strike zone.
 
Cee is actually right about that. You're going have the same amount of problems. The same amount of drama. So, it makes sense to choose what you like if you are going to have to put up with them anyway.

I think us men bring alot of these relationship problems on ourselves

why would we have unprotected sex with someone we wouldn't want to marry?

Some women are messier than a tampon without the wings but if she's fine
will still deal with it, only to have headaches and die before her anyway.
and we were told to flee from these types of women

I think we're all a little superficial to a certain degree. We all want someone who is physically attractive. Men are known to be visual creatures, but women are too. I like something nice to look at, touch/feel... and taste. :lol: But if he doesn't have good character and can't hold a good conversation or doesn't treat me right, I'm gone. Whereas, somebody else might be willing to deal with the bad traits for the sake of holding on to someone who just looks good on the outside. If they like it, I love it. I just can't do it. My only issue with people who stay with bad people who look only good is they need to take responsibility for their own poor decisions, self evaluate how shallow they are and don't go grouping of people of the same sex together as being bad when actually they play apart in their failed relationships.
