Walk-on QB to compete for No. 1

Kid can play and you are correct....
Don't listen to some of P88's alums or former PV coaches lol who think him stupid brah. I'm severely far removed. Last fall, P88 expected battle of SWAC east between Bama St, Jstate, & Bama A&M. SWAC west battle between Gram & SU. I was slightly off on the west.

I wish the sports board could stay strictly sports truth & not smack.
Again, hella' catch Jstate. I expect the walkon to have a schol fall 2012 :read:

Shat............ I gave up on that long ago cause you can always count on the same ones to come in and do their thing.

JSU2004, we have Drewry (6'6) who can fill in for Wilder and Drewry hands are much better and he runs like a deer.

I forgot all about Drewry he started off slow last season but I really think he could become the next WR to get picked up in the NFL for JSU...U know we dont go to long without having a WR up there!

what makes this "a hella catch"?

Seriously
IMHO, speaking for self, if it invokes jealousy AND envy over what YOUR squad offers, that makes it hella'. I wished we'd secured that young man's talents. When he lines up behind that revamped ol of Jstate & they start plowing over & through all of us, that's when some may understand it.
I don't know what it is to hate on another squad but I C some good blueprints in certain posters.

He started slow because of his staph infection that was in his leg. But once that cleared up, then he turned it on.

Is he kinda' frail as in skinny? I haven't researched him too much so I'm sincerely asking. Does he need to hit the weightroom/gain muscular mass? How's his route running/dependability catching?

From what I've heard if he's only halfway decent he'll win the job over the cats who were behind Casey last season.

Yeah Panth, this is him right here:

The one (2) jumping up with our TE, Rollins.

Dedric McDonald.

Mark Thigpen.

Tevin Chapman.

And, now, Drew Jackson.

At least four quarterbacks will compete this spring to replace record-setter Casey Therriault as Jackson State's starting quarterback next fall.

Jackson is the most recent to join the race.

A 6-foot-2, 220-pound junior originally from Michigan, Jackson transferred from Kilgore College, a community college in Texas, and is enrolled in school at JSU this semester.

He kinda reminds me of Bruce Eugene with his touch on the ball.

That kids looks like the real deal. I think JSU will do well.

Last year Casey didnt start looking his way until late in the season, we had Richardson, Wilder and Rollins get most of the catches and sophmore Perkins who got hott, soo Tilman and Drewery had to fight for catches....Drewery is on the track team as well and has some real Pro Speed so he just needs to make a statement this season...

Uh ohhhhhhhh. Fballer on track team = speed. :read:
Does he have good hands?

Drewery looked good last season and he was expected to come on strong this season until that staff infection. Dude has good hands and is fast after the catch...

forget the quarterback, who are those receivers???

Like the QB reminds me of me a little. That receiver #9 I like also.

You can tell pure fball pundits because they don't concentrate so much on the very one that the vid features but rather what's going on around him to HELP him look better. :read: He's not out there blocking DL/blitzes/LBers/and catching the ball he tosses. :read:

Gotta' have some guys who'll go up and out to get it (the ball) when it comes their way. :read:

I just don't feel that none of those players are more than lower average. I don't see good things on the horizon for jsu this fall. That Casey character really kept jsu from finishing in the cellar. I don't see any super hero that will save jsu this year IMHO. Look for Valley to get by jsu this year.

The question should be can the Jags get by JSU this year ?

Are you standing behind this like red beans and rice?

what makes this "a hella catch"?

Seriously

Simply because we are Jackson State. We run the best system, have the best coaches and we have the best athletes. On top of that, our offensive and defensive systems are now in place. All we have to do is get thru one more year and we get back 13 scholarships. That is the end of all of you then. ALL! Seriously (thanks MH)

TP,
Remember when Steve Haren's highlights were posted on here? I do.
He was gonna be sooooo good, set all kind of records, and go undefeated in the SWAC. :retard:

but I digress, because EVERY YEAR during this time of year, Jsu has the most talent, will go undefeated, and has the best coaches.

oh well, after all these years, same ole, same ole
