A man has been accused of trying to run down and kill his girlfriend after she turned down his marriage proposal.
Mario Francisco Hernandez, 22, was still holding a bouquet of flowers when he was arrested after the murder attempt.
The former soldier had driven to a fast food restaurant in Pico Rivera, California, where his 21-year-old girlfriend worked with the words:'Stacy Will you Marry Me' written on the back windscreen of his car.

Seems like it would have been a good "fit" being that they had two children together and she was living in his parents home. A lot of time it's hard to know what the significant other is thinking but I was a little shocked myself when she said no but not to the extent where I wanted him to kill her. But my big question is, "why did she say no when going through all the trouble to have a family (two kids) AND THEN STAYING WITH HIS PARENTS?" But I will tell you this this will teach her a lesson about responsibilities and forming strong-intimate bonds with men (not bashing women and men)!
