I'm not disputing that others documented the existence of angelic chariots before the bible was written.

Dude, they said nothing about any angel, those are your words.
You try your best to attribute any UFO to the bible, when it has nothing to do with the bible and you have no proof showing that it does.
Just say that it's your opinion and leave it at that.

......that's because of the distance. Don't worry, Satan and his angels will arrive on earth in these chariots for the world to see. You will have an up close view of these chariots on the tube/in person. I have a better video for you JayRob...........

Why does satan need a chariot if he has wings?
Dude, you're talking crazy now. No evidence, just more unsupported opinion. One day, you'll learned that you've been seriously duped by a fictionalized book you have faith in, but no evidence.

Now, the last time I checked, a chariot carries a person wherever the person wishes to go. Ezekiel clearly stated that beings were inside the chariots, and Almighty God's throne was on the mother chariot. What part of that don't you understand? Also, Christ stated he will return on a white horse. What part of that don't you understand? Again, Satan and his angels will arrive in these vehicles for the world to see.

2 Kings 6:14 So [the Syrian king] sent there horses, chariots, and a great army. They came by night and surrounded the city.

2 Kings 6:15 When the servant of the man of God rose early and went out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was around the city. Elisha's servant said to him, Alas, my master! What shall we do?

2 Kings 6:16 [Elisha] answered, Fear not; for those with us are more than those with them.

2 Kings 6:17 Then Elisha prayed, Lord, I pray You, open his eyes that he may see. And the Lord opened the young man's eyes, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

Angels don't have wings. The word angel means "messenger". Angels look like human beings, however they are not flesh and blood, and they are perfect in body/beauty. When Satan arrives, an ignorant world will not be prepared for the physical beauty in which they will witness from Satan and his angels. Paul warned women to keep Christ over their head because these evil angels will be seducing women as Satan did to Eve in Genesis 3, and as Satan instructed his angels to do in Genesis 6.

And what part of your elementary post does it say that satan was in a chariot? You just read anything into any verse without any logic or thought to it. You just make up stuff and place it wherever you want to, hoping nobody will pick up on it.

It's one thing for the bible to be fiction, but let's not misinterpret and muddy the waters of those fictional stories.

Where did I even mention angels? I clearly said satan. Is he an average angel? No. Does he as a cherub have wings? Yes.

You said satan would be in a vehicle and I asked the question, "why would satan need a chariot? You didn't answer because you would've looked foolish doing so. Satan, who by the way is called a "cherub", DOES have wings, so again I ask, "why would he need a chariot to fly in?" That's akin to Superman taking United Airlines.
Don't tell me Mr. Murray taught you that. LOL!!

2 Chronicles 5:7-8, it states, "And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the Lord unto the place, to the oracle of the house, into the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubims: For the cherubims spread forth their wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above."

Samuel 22:11, it reads, "And he rode upon a Cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind."

Ezekiel 10:20-21 states, "These were the living creatures I had seen beneath the God of Israel by the river Kebar, and I realized that they were cherubim. Each had four faces and four wings, and under their wings was what looked like the hands of a man."

You know, well maybe you know "something is wrong with you" You, neither can no one else "prove" if those were Chariots or someone in a stunt plane. I am sure if the media could prove those were chariots, there would be a close up photographs.

Please explain how God's throne is in the mother chariot. I am with JR, explain why Satan would need a chariot.

Angels look like human beings,

What bible are you using?

Ezekiel clearly stated that beings were inside the chariots,

This is figurative language, Ezekiel was describing an object the best he could, because he was familiar with the chariots of their time.

......that's because of the distance.

Please explain

And what part of your elementary post does it say that satan was in a chariot? You just read anything into any verse without any logic or thought to it. You just make up stuff and place it wherever you want to, hoping nobody will pick up on it.

It's one thing for the bible to be fiction, but let's not misinterpret and muddy the waters of those fictional stories.

Revelation 6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him(SATAN) that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

Revelation 6:5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he(SATAN) that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.

Revelation 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death(SATAN), and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Where did I even mention angels? I clearly said satan. Is he an average angel? No. Does he as a cherub have wings? Yes.

Satan is an angel. What part of the following elementary verse don't you understand? 2 Corinthians 11:14 And it is no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light;

You said satan would be in a vehicle and I asked the question, "why would satan need a chariot?

The bible said it, not me.......Revelation 6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him(SATAN) that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

Ezekiel 28:11-19 describes Satan physically and spiritually. No where in those verses did God state Satan has wings........no where. Having said that, the verses above are not talking about an actual being. What part of that don't you understand? It's obvious you can't recognize a symbolic material description from an actual being.

Ezekiel 10:20-21 states, "These were the living creatures I had seen beneath the God of Israel by the river Kebar, and I realized that they were cherubim. Each had four faces and four wings, and under their wings was what looked like the hands of a man."

So, an angelic cherub has four faces?:shame:

II Samuel 22:11 "And He rode upon a cherub, and did fly: And He was seen upon the wings of the wind."

The "wings of the wind" is the "Ruach" the Holy Spirit. Psalms 104:3; "Who layeth the beams of His chambers in the waters: Who maketh the clouds His chariot: Who walketh upon the wings of the wind."

Psalms 104:4 "Who maketh his angels spirits; His minister a flaming fire:"

These ministers that make a difference and preach the Word. They are testing things by God's fire to decide whether things are good or bad.

Psalms 104:5 "Who laid the foundations of the earth, That it should not be removed for ever." http://www.theseason.org/2Samuel/2Samuel22.htm

Ezekiel 10:20-21 states, "These were the living creatures I had seen beneath the God of Israel by the river Kebar, and I realized that they were cherubim. Each had four faces and four wings, and under their wings was what looked like the hands of a man."

Again, Ezekiel is talking about angels and their vehicles. Go back and start from the beginning of the chapter. http://www.theseason.org/ezekiel/ezekiel1.htm

RB
Please explain how God's throne is in the mother chariot.

Ezekiel 1:25 "And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood, and had let down their wings."

The voice came from that cloud that was over their vehicles, after these highly polished bronze vehicles sat on their landing gear, resting on the ground.

Ezekiel 1:26 "And above the firmament that was over their heads was likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it."

Above these vehicles that now rested on the ground, a throne appeared, and on and around the throne shone a brilliance of a bright shinning sapphire, and on that throne was a man, and in the Hebrew, the word is "Adam". In other words, the person on that throne looked like a man.

If you have ever wondered what God looked like? We were told by Moses in Genesis 1:27; "So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female." However there is the magnificence of this shinning glory that surrounds Him, where ever He is present.

This man that Ezekiel was seeing on the throne over these circular vehicles looked like the adamic man, because God created us to look like Him. Ezekiel is having the same experience that Moses had, he is seeing God, and speaking directly with Him. God is not some force, or charge of electrical current of in space, He is a person, with feelings of love and anger just like we have. We are made in His image, a reflection of what we are.

Ezekiel 1:27 "And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and form the appearance of his loins even downward, I was as it were the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about."

Here again is the brightness of this brilliant, highly polished bronze, shinning as a bright sapphire coming from God, and those vehicles below Him.

When we see him, and are living in the Eternal city, we are told that there will be no need of the sun, for his brightness, and beauty will be greater then the sun. Revelation 21:23; "And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof." http://www.theseason.org/ezekiel/ezekiel1.htm

I am with JR, explain why Satan would need a chariot.

The same reason you need a truck, car, heavy construction vehicle, airplane, train, bus, bike, and etc.

Your logic is getting sadder and sadder. Dude, horses are symbols in Revelation. Actually the entire book is fictionalized, but you get my point, at least I hope you do. You have no problem making yourself look biblically illiterate. That's your right though.

Satan is an angel. What part of the following elementary verse don't you understand? 2 Corinthians 11:14 And it is no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light;

What part of AVERAGE angel do YOU not understand? Where did I say that satan WASN'T an angel? There are several categories of angels mentioned in the bible. You should know this.

The bible said it, not me.......Revelation 6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him(SATAN) that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

All symbolic figures, not meant to be literal. Dude, I don't even have your god's holy spirit and I know that much. Wow!!

Ezekiel 28:11-19 describes Satan physically and spiritually. No where in those verses did God state Satan has wings........no where. Having said that, the verses above are not talking about an actual being. What part of that don't you understand? It's obvious you can't recognize a symbolic material description from an actual being.

Dude, you flip flop more than the Republicans. First you told Dr. H, that Isaiah 14 wasn't symbolic when it described the king, NOW you're saying Ezekiel 28 is symbolic? Either you can't comprehend too good or you're just downright dishonest. Either one you choose ain't good at all.

Ezekiel 28:14 clearly says CHERUB. It's literal dude, no symbolism.
Lucifer is called a COVERING CHERUB. CHERUBS HAVE FOUR WINGS AND FOUR FACES.
For the sake of further embarassment, just learn to admit when you're wrong and move on.

So, an angelic cherub has four faces?

According to your bible it does. You should know better than me, but it's obvious you don't.
Ezekiel 10:14: Each of the cherubim had four faces: One face was that of a cherub, the second the face of a man, the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.

If that verse is symbolic, then the whole chapter is symbolic. If this is so, this automatically destroys your "angels-in-a-chariot" theory because it's ALL symbolic as you said. Which is it?

No, I don't get your point. This is above and beyond your comprehension. You need eyes to see and ears to hear, you lack both, therefore I don't expect you to see and hear what comes natural to me from the holy spirit. I'm not being funny at all, but I seriously don't expect you to understand because you don't share a personal relationship with Christ.

I'm literate enough to know you're afraid, blind, and lost. I'm still praying for you.

.......of course certain angels hold a different office. When did I say they didn't?

All symbolic figures, not meant to be literal. Dude, I don't even have your god's holy spirit and I know that much. Wow!!

If you know that much, then why can't you comprehend a simple verse stating that Satan will show up in a flying vehicle? You know, they say a vehicle has "horse" power under the hood to symbolize strength, but at least I can comprehend the symbology used to explain the vehicle's power, doesn't rid the fact the vehicle actually exists.

First you told Dr. H, that Isaiah 14 wasn't symbolic when it described the king......

When did a human king fall from heaven with the name Lucifer? I'm certain you will never find it in the bible.

Ezekiel 28:14 clearly says CHERUB. It's literal dude, no symbolism.
Lucifer is called a COVERING CHERUB.

I'm not disputing what Lucifer is called, however I'm disputing your poor interpretation.

Ezekiel 10:14: Each of the cherubim had four faces: One face was that of a cherub, the second the face of a man, the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.

That verse is describing the symbols on the chariot. It's no different than a jaguar displaying a chrome jaguar symbol on the vehicle. The word is so simple, yet you continue to stumble.

If I'm afraid, blind and lost, what does that make you, seeing that you can't even rightly interpret simple verses?

War riding on a horse? False gospel riding on a horse? Death riding on a horse and famine and disease riding on a horse? That's supposed to be literal?! Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!! When you speak of blind and lost, perhaps you need to look into the mirror.

ROYAL BLUE; [QUOTE said:

You implied it when you tried to say that satan wasn't a cherub. A cherub is much higher than an average angel. I had to point that out to you.

Dude, you're just as wrong as you can be, but your vanity and pride won't let you admit it. You keep digging yourself in a deeper hole and don't realize it. First you say, he'll arrive in a chariot, now you're saying he rides horses? You make no sense at all, and you make yourself look real ignorant.
Simply put, satan has wings, meaning he can fly and travel without the aid of wheels. Of course all of this is fictional, but even I can interpret fiction.

When did a human king fall from heaven with the name Lucifer? I'm certain you will never find it in the bible.

YOU were the very one who said Isaiah 14 was symbolic, now you're changing tune just so Ezekiel 28 can fit your flawed theory. How can a man be a covering cherub? Just admit you were wrong and move on.

I'm not disputing what Lucifer is called, however I'm disputing your poor interpretation.

You've disputed a lot of things I've said and you've come up on the wrong side every time. I thought you would've learned your lesson by now, but obviously you haven't.

That verse is describing the symbols on the chariot. It's no different than a jaguar displaying a chrome jaguar symbol on the vehicle. The word is so simple, yet you continue to stumble.

Ezekiel 28:14 clearly calls Lucifer a CHERUB. It's as plain as day. You need to look up the definition and description of what a cherub is. This verse can't be that difficult to understand, it can't be. Cherubs have four faces and several wings and they have hands.
If the faces are symbols on the chariot, what does a chariot need hands for? What does it need feet for? It's clear that the verses are speaking about creatures.

The following verses makes it even clearer that these four faces were not symbols on a chariot:
Ezekiel 10:20-21 states, "These were the living creatures I had seen beneath the God of Israel by the river Kebar, and I realized that they were cherubim. Each had four faces and four wings, and under their wings was what looked like the hands of a man."
Ezekiel 1:4-8 reads, "In appearance their form was that of a man, but each of them had four faces and four wings. Their legs were straight; their feet were like those of a calf and gleamed like burnished bronze. Under their wings on their four sides they had the hands of a man." Verse 10 states, "Each of the four had the face of a man, and on the right side each had the face of a lion, and on the left the face of an ox; each also had the face of an eagle."

It's as clear as day that these were creatures. They're also described in Revelation and other parts of the bible.
RB, you need to learn more about your book of fiction to learn to properly interpret it.

Again, this is above you spiritually, and I wouldn't expect you to understand the scripture if you don't have Christ. It's as clear as day that these were creatures. They're also described in Revelation and other parts of the bible.

The purpose of this article is to address the biblical question of "angelic chariots", and to ascertain exactly what it written therein on the subject. Does the biblical text describe the physical appearance of God's angelic chariots? I believe that after your read this article, you will be able to discern the answer to this question for yourself, as the answer is resoundingly clear. Let me start by laying a biblical foundation for angelic chariots, as well as for the Chariot of God himself, both of which are referenced with various, controlling metaphors in the Old Testament, that also appear in the early interpretive writings of the Jews, Gnostic Christians, and Greeks.

The Old Testament abounds with texts that speak of how angels came to the earth in ancient times riding in heavenly vehicles that are represented metaphorically as "horses" and "chariots" of God. Psalm 68:17 is probably the most definitive example of the Old Testament "angelic chariot" texts. This Psalm addresses the chronology of the Jewish Exodus from captivity in Egypt, their encampment at Mount Sinai, and the events that transpired at that time. "The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands multiplied: the Lord was among them at Sinai, in the [heavenly] Temple/Sanctuary."

There are also many Old Testament texts that speak of how certain biblical figures ascended into the heavens, and are acknowledged by biblical scholars as the "heavenly ascension" texts. One of the best, and probably most well-known examples of these texts is found in 2 Kings 2:1 and 11, which speak of the heavenly ascension of the prophet Elijah, as therein it is written in verse 1: "Now when the Lord was about to take Elijah up into the heavens by a whirlwind, Elijah and Elisha were on their was from Gilgal." Verse 11 continues with: "As they continued walking and talking, a Chariot of fire and horses of fire separated the two of them, and Elijah ascended in a whirlwind into the heavens."

There are also many references in the biblical text that speak of the Chariot in which God, himself, came to visit the earth, as is described above in 2 Kings 2 as the Chariot of fire. The reference to "horses of fire" is to the angelic "chariots of God" that accompany God's Chariot which, in the early Jewish interpretive writings is acknowledged as being a "Merkabah."

Yes, the bible says that "ANY" man that doesn't have Christ is a lost soul; that would be you JayRob.

Again, this is above you spiritually, and I wouldn't expect you to understand the scripture if you don't have Christ. Christ states His sheep hear his voice, and if you don't hear His voice, then you're not his sheep......that means you have no understanding and you're spiritually dead. You should consider walking in the light instead of darkness.

Let me be whatever, but the point is, you couldn't even rightly interpret simple verses involving symbolic horses. I hope you didn't get this info from Murray.

No I didn't, you misinterpreted me. I know more about angels than you, and they don't have wings attached to their body. The bible makes it clear angles resemble the likeness of men.

RB, your vanity and pride is showing again.

......at least I'm not too proud to reject the salvation of Christ. What about you? Horses, Wheels, and Chariots are the same vehicles. God showed Elisha these horses and chariots invisibly hovering above the mountains. You're just having a hard time comprehending the simplicity of the word. You try to complicate and twist things causing great confusion, but I have eyes to see it's the working of Satan using you. Come out of that darkness and be saved. Don't be ignorant and lose your soul.

RB, you can divert to my character all you please, but I'm not going to divert away from your ignorance of simple verses.
You can stand by error all you please. I'm simply pointing it out that you're doing it.

I stand by my words............

Like I said, vanity and pride makes you do that.

How can a saved man be proven wrong by an unsaved man? You try and prove how intelligent you are to Christians, but in reality, you're just a fool who's not intelligent enough to accept salvation. Is that smart? No, that's plain stupid.

It's happening right before your eyes. You're afraid or too vain to admit that you are being taught something by a non-Christian from your own book. In spite of you supposedly having a holy spirit, pride and vanity will not allow you to admit that you are wrong. Now that's the real shame. That holy spirit you're supposed to have is supposed to impart humility and honesty. Perhaps you're lacking in those areas.

RB, let's not go way out into left field like you're attempting to do. We're not talking about other beings or the Old Testament god travelling by whatever means. The subject at hand is why does satan, need a chariot to travel when he has wings? Let's stick to the subject at hand.

The cherubs mentioned in Ezekiel WERE creatures. Satan was a cherub. These creatures are described as having four faces and several wings. It even describes their legs and hands. I ask the question again, "what chariot has hands and feet?" You seem to be doing everything you can not to answer the questions.

The same creatures are described in Revelation as being around god's throne. In the bible, OT and NT, who surrounds the throne of god? Cherubim, that's who. Satan was once Lucifer, who was supposedly at the OT god's throne.
No matter how fictional the bible is, this is what it says in clear irrefutable terms. Your pride and arrogance just won't seem to let you come to the conclusion that you're wrong and that an unbeliever has taught you something once again.

RB, just pray more, perhaps it will be revealed to you in terms you can understand. Even more, go ask Murray if I'm right.

Neither one of the verses you quoted from Revelation, stated that Satan would use a chariot. A chariot is not a horse.

The voice came from that cloud that was over their vehicles, after these highly polished bronze vehicles sat on their landing gear, resting on the ground.

So where are you reading a landing gear are the wings, now landing gears?

Above these vehicles that now rested on the ground, a throne appeared, and on and around the throne shone a brilliance of a bright shinning sapphire, and on that throne was a man, and in the Hebrew, the word is "Adam". In other words, the person on that throne looked like a man. ........
Adam, refers to mankind, not Adam as an individual

How are you interpreting this as “God's throne is in the mother chariot.†So are you saying the man was God?

The word likeness [appearance] “like a throne†this scripture did not say it definitely was a throne.

Do you understand the word appearance

So how can God look like a man, when the scriptures specifically states that
Jesus says in John 4:24, "God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth."

Question: What does a Spirit look like?
Image of God, does not imply that “we†look like God.

Genesis 1:14

"Image" and "likeness" are essentially identical terms. They indicate personality, moral, and spiritual qualities that God and man share. These qualities distinguish humans from the animals,
which have no God-consciousness even though they have conscious life (v. 24).

"if you have ever studied the bible, you would understand that we cannot interpret it [the phrase 'the image of God'] literally— that is, that man's physical being is in the image of God.

With a little spiritual knowledge, would make one reject your comments about God. Why?. In the first place, we are told that God is a spirit (John 4:24; Isa. 31:3) and that he is “ omnipresent†(1Kgs. 8:27).

A literal interpretation would leave us with all sorts of questions. If man's we created in the [literal] of God, that mean, God possesses.

Sexual organs, eyes, a tongue, offspring’s, and He would have a need for food, sleep aand such like.

Yes, you are blind, lost and afraid. At least I can interpret that Christ died on the cross for my sins, and offered all souls salvation. Why is that hard for you to interpret and accept as truth? I don't know everything, but at least I'm saved. I think that makes me a Christ man because God is pleased with me. What about you?

Let me be whatever, but the point is, you couldn't even rightly interpret simple verses involving symbolic horses. I hope you didn't get this info from Murray.

Your point is you're a liar, you hate Christianity, and Christ who offered it. I can interpret that clearly.

As for the horses, you lack much understanding if you're not a Christian, and it does no good to discuss deep spiritual meanings if you're not spiritually blessed by God.

Dude, you're still on here trying to divert away from your twisting bible verses to mean something they don't? Just admit that you were corrected by a non-believer in your religion.

You're supposed to be lead by the holy spirit, but did the holy spirit inspire you to wrongly interpret simple verses?
What inspired me to rightly interpret it and you to wrongly interpret it? That deserves a bit of time here because this is not the first time this has happened.
Why am I able to rightly interpret your holy book, while you struggle to do so?
Does it ACTUALLY require a "holy spirit" to interpret the bible? No, just common sense and a little bit of research. I've proven that beyond a shadow of a doubt and you helped me do so. Thank you.
