They prolly in the Blue Bengal Den , PM'ing or texting each other trying to think of a quick retort. Prolly arguing with each other on how wrong they were.

oh well...

Centuries: 20th century · 21st century · 22nd century
Decades: 2000s 2010s 2020s 2030s 2040s
2050s 2060s 2070s 2080s 2090s

<s>Decades in the 21st century start with 2000's so </s>JSU is 5-4 against SU this decade.
i corrected it for you...

Ok here's how you count a decade for the slow folks..

1990s - the decade was from 1990 to 1999
2000s - the decade is from 2000 - 2009

However the 21st Century Started in 2001 so...once u inserted "21st century" the made the above post wrong.. WHY? well just because 2000 started a new Decade it did not start the new century!.. :smh:

any questions?

Ordinal
The original method of counting years was ordinal, whether 1st year A.D. or regnal 10th year of King Henry VIII. This ordinal numbering is still present in the names of the millennia and centuries, for example 1st Millennium or the 20th century, and sometimes in the names of decades, e.g. 1st decade of the 21st century.

[edit] Cardinal
In recent years, most people have moved to expressing individual years as cardinal numbers, for example 1945 or 1998. The usage 1999th year A.D. is no longer found. This follows scientific usage, for example astronomical year numbering. As a result, some other calendar names have also moved to cardinals, e.g. 1980s is an acceptable name for a particular decade. However, 1600s could be understood as either a decade or a century.

[edit] Ranges
A change from ordinals to cardinals is incomplete and might not ever be completed; the main issues arise from the content of the various year ranges. Similar issues affect the contents of decades and centuries. Those following ordinal year names naturally choose

2001–2010 as the current decade
2001–2100 as the current century
2001–3000 as the current millennium
Those following cardinal year names equally naturally choose

2000–2009 as the current decade
2000–2099 as the current century
2000–2999 as the current millennium

Good information, but make sure the clock at Memorial Stadium is working on October 3rd, MMIX.

Not since 1998. Mumford has had a nice scoreboard for a long while now.

I'm not saying the scoreboard was bad, it just mysteriously malfunctioned when JSU was driving at the end of the game. I wasn't able to attend the game in person but listened to the radio broadcast. JSU was in the hurry-up offense, but was only able to run 3 plays in 2 plus minutes before the refs said time was up and hurriedly left the field.

There was no year "0".

uuuum.. if the world started today, how many year would have passed. You would be 0.something years.. sheesh. it takes DAYS and month to get you to ONE year..once you past the first year, you are in the second year but that that first year is year zero...

Like the old saying go, "believe nothing you hear, and only one half that you see". You know SWAC radio announcers are the worst.

You IS wrong!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_decades

How you gonna count decades and centuries different? Decades and centuries...start at 0. The world started a zero days and 0 years. You had to GET TO ONE YEAR.

But ya'll can't count but you can count this... SU is 4-5 against JSU this decade.. (but REALLY, ya'll just 1-5 since the **** wins don't count)... :lecture:

Mane, they flat out cheated... :smh:

First, learn how to tell time before you accuse someone of cheating.:lecture:

Your own boy just said JSU is 5-4 THIS decade so ya'll in the NOTION need to go and re-grouped. The people in the NOTION that can add are embarrassed. Im embarrassed for ya'll. Especially when the dude said that the year 2000 was in the 90's.. :lmao:

The "Beyond Rock Bottom Crew" strikes again.

Keep digging, eventually you'll reach the earth's inner core and if you dig beyond that, you might reach China.

One of the refs who worked that game confirmed that fact for me. He also said the game ended about 5 mins early.

Here we go again, "believe nothing you hear, and only one half that you see". And you believed a SWAC referee?
