Swac Baseball Tournament - Day 3

Q Drains is starting the Gram game. We also still have C Huggings our normal game 3 starter and A Davis and basicaly everyone but Marquise to come back. We just have to get on the fast track early today.

Good deal. I'm cool with Drains starting. Last time I saw him, he closed out game one of a DH against Alcorn, then started game 2, going 6 strong, up 5-2. Then the bullpen happened.

I just looked outside,it's cloudy and the wind is picking up.I'm kind of piss with Gram.Late in the game someone in Grams dugout thrown around 20 are so bat's on the playing field.The Ref. and Coach Rey ran the player are Coach out.I'm not sure who it was but that was poor sportsmanship. :shame:

I will be texting Keith from TSU what's going on today.

It was a player I believe. I think it was in the paper.

meanwhile, 1-0 uapb, bttm of the 4th.

Get over it, as long as we aren't fighting a team! Emotions are expected in match ups like these: i'm sure Coach Rey will have them more focused and relaxed today! That happened Thursday today is Friday!

UAPB with runners on 1st and 2nd (1 out) A pop fly results in 1 out and somehow the runner on 2nd gets thrown out at 3rd. *shrugs* I don't know.

Going to the top of the 5th, 1-0 uapb

He tried to tag up on that short pop up to left field...

Sounds like the Swac umps blew another call.

Dropped 3rd strike and Alcorn did not throw the ball to first or tag the batter. Umpire called him out to end the inning, UAPB coach got tossed out the game for arguing the call and throwing his helmet.

Now UAPB came out in the 6th and made a error, hit the next batter.....now runners on 1st & 2nd with no outs for Alcorn.

Alcorn moves the batters to 2nd and 3rd on a ground out to 2nd. Next batter gets a hit and scores 2 runs.
2 out slater and end of the half.

UAPB has another player thrown out trying to reach 3rd base (3rd this game) to end the inning.

Alcorn stranded a runner on base to end their half of the inning

Alcorn adds some insurance, 3-1 going into the bottom of the 9th. UAPB got to do it now or they will be the 1st West team to be "Going Fishing".

Well if Pine Bluff would have known how to run the bases and the umpire didn't miss the call in the 5th inning and their coach getting tossed......it could have been a different outcome.
