Ex-NBA player with at least 8 kids files for bankruptcy

Former NBA player Jason Caffey had two kids with his wife before she filed for divorce in Fulton County last year.

He also has had a slew of children ? at least six others ? with other women around the country, in and around Atlanta as well as in Alabama, Louisiana and Illinois.

Most went to court and got hefty child-support orders from Caffey while he was making millions playing professional basketball. Once he left the NBA in 2003, though, Caffey's well of cash dried up like the shores of Lake Lanier.

But he was still on the hook for the payments. Now he has filed for bankruptcy in Alabama to get the women ? and law enforcement ? off his back.

Stuff like this makes me glad I don't have millions of dollars and I know not to go around poking chick that walks up to me.
 
It doesn't matter if your ass has a job making $15 an hour. If you're stupid enough to go screwing every skank who opens up her legs to you, sans protection, an outcome similar to his is a very real risk you run.

I'm not saying that Caffey isn't an idiot but all these stupid azz women that lay up and have these babies need to be called out too.
 
I do not understand how it is a reasonable expectation of the court system that one can maintain support payments based on an income that one no longer makes.

In October, a judge in Alabama rejected a bankruptcy case filed by Caffey, clearing the way for him to be sued for child support.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Cynthia D. Wright issued an arrest warrant Tuesday over Caffey’s failure to obey a court order that he pay more than $200,000 in child support and legal fees to Lorunda Brown and her attorney.

200K$? :retard: The <b>system</b> is fugged up in the worst possible way. Ol' girl was looking for a come up and certainly got one.

And folx wonder why I'm so prejudiced regarding females.... Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii... I'd rather have a black '08 corvette than a ho who wants kids and is looking for a payday any day. :D Simple choice. :bowdown:
 



I grew up with Jason and he really is a pretty cool guy. All these reports and national news paint him in a negative light. He hasn't paid child support and he's got some other financial problems but the media makes him out to be the anti- child support poster boy. I guess it comes with being in the NBA- you take the good and the bad.
 
8 children in 4 different states. Unfortunate that someone could be that irresponsible. I mean all he had to do was pull out/back out and save himself some trouble. I practiced the Crawfish method many times in my backsliding days and it saved me from making any babies. Now he's going to jail for a nut.

I don't think Pippen was as bad on the number of kids. Plus it seems like he was handling his money well at least back in the day. I read somewhere he was putting all his neices and nephews through college. So he must have some loot still.

He was a special assistant coach to the Lakers for a minute. Don't know what he is up to these days. Never heard any child support talk since he got divorced back in the 90s.

Now Shawn Kemp and that damn I can't feed my family off 14 million Latrell Sprewell come to my mind.

Some of these skanks just as bad, if not worse. I know this chick here in Houston that has 3 kids by 3 different ball players.

So don't trip on the Dude's all the time, schyatt some of these "Women" let every "Tom, DICK & Harry" break it off in them ............ :sperm:
 
Man, Jason Caffey apparently thought just because he played for the Bulls he was exempt from responsibility. That cat was a horrible basketball player in Chicago. Never really seemed like he wantesd to get better at the game.

Now, by not taking his career more seriously Caffey has put himself in a horrible situation.

Sure, you can say that chicks were probably going after his dough, but Caffey should have been thinking with his big head instead of his little one.
 
One of his baby mamas went to JSU for a year. She was from Chicago and moved back home when she got pregnant. This was during Caffey's rookie year.
