NASHVILLE – The Tennessee State football game at Hampton scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 15, has been canceled due to the impending impact of Hurricane Florence.

The game will not be rescheduled.

This marks the second consecutive game canceled due to weather for the Tigers.  Last Saturday while in Memphis, Tennessee during a weather delay, the Southern Heritage Classic against Jackson State was eventually canceled. That game will also not be rescheduled.

Tennesee State’s next scheduled game is Sept. 22 at 2 p.m. in Charleston, Ill against Eastern Illinois.
