One-time Michigan State defensive back Justin Williams is reportedly heading to Hampton, according to reports.

The redshirt sophomore will be immediately eligible to play at Hampton after his release from Michigan State, MLive.com reported.

“It’s been real MSU, I will always be a Spartandawg4life, ‪but I will be transferring to Hampton University to finish my career,” Williams’ said on Twitter “I’m excited to get a new start. Stay tuned …”

The 6-1, 180-pound Williams signed with Michigan State over South Carolina, West Virginia and Cincinnati.
