• Finished the game with a game-high 11 tackles (8 solo, 3 assist), to go along with one sack, 4.5 tackles for loss, one fumble recovery, one pass defl ection and two QB hurries in
SU’s 14-10 win over Alcorn State.
• On the season, he has 51 total tackles (28 unassisted) including 18.0 tackles for loss … also has seven sacks, five pass deflections, and a fumble recovery … tied for team lead with ten quarterback hurries.

Newcomer of the Week
Ronald Brewer, RB, Mississippi Valley State

• Had 25 carries for 141 yards and 1 reception for 12 yards.
• On the season, he has 131 carries for 621 yards and two touchdowns … averaging 4.7 yards per carry and 88.7 rushing yards per game … also has nine receptions for 58 yards.

Specialist of the Week
Tim Manuel, P/K, Grambling State
(5-11, 225, Sr., New Iberia, La.)

• Connected on 3-of-4 fi eld goals (22, 25 & 32 yards) with his longest spanning 32 yards…also averaged 31 yards on two punts with a long of 40 yards and placed one punt
inside the 20-yard line.
• On the season, he is 10-for-14 (71.4 percent) on field goals with a long of 38 … he also is averaging 40.9 yards per punts (31 punts) while registering eight touchbacks … also has made 19-of-21 PAT kick attempts.
