R2K operates a desktop publishing division that will produce small to medium sized books, newsletters, and tabloid newspapers. Through the use of computers and on-line services, information is compiled and stored, and reproduced as camera-ready copy. (Printing will be jobbed out.)

Black College Sports Encyclopedia
For the first time in history, composite statistics from Black colleges are available in the R2K Black College Sports Encyclopedia. This includes all of the individual career, single season, single season and single game stats for football, men's and women's basketball, dating back to the 1950's.
This book is a collaborative effort of Hall of Fame coach, John B. McLendon, Jr. and researcher Fred Whitted. It answers many of the frequently asked questions concerning Black college athletics. This is the first book of this type to be done about Black college athletics. $24.95

Black College Alumni - American Role Models
This is a release of a book begun in 1990. It is now being released as a fact book on HBCUs as well as a series on Black College graduates. It contains more than 200 biographic sketches of HBCU graduates and is the first book of its kind ever produced.
A unique feature of the American Role Models series is that it will be used to raise funds for HBCUs. R2K will share its profits with a nonprofit organization that provides funding to HBCUs.

This book details the life of Clarence E. "Bighouse" Gaines from his boyhood days in Paducah, Kentucky through his 47-year career at Winston-Salem State University.
Gaines is the winningest coach in the history of Black college basketball, and ranks third all-time among all college coaches. It is the first detailed look into the history of Black college basketball, and covers the first Black coach to win 800 games.
