Young people tend to take a left turn in college. Not so in Texas. Student bodies in tune with right-wing values thrive in a few of the state's top colleges.

The Princeton Review released last week its annual list of the 380 best colleges in America. Among those nearly 400 schools, the publication narrowed down a list of the most conservative student bodies. Three Texas universities figured into the top 15.

…..

Waller County has gotten some bad press after the death of Sandra Bland, but Brazos County, home of TAMU, is very conservative.

Those who have been to both UT-Austin and Texas A&M have noticed the difference in atmosphere between the two schools.

texags posters are unapologetically racist but aggies in general are "funny" in the sense that they are a bunch of dummies with delusions of grandeur. From those weird traditions to the inferiority complex, its like a cult. Rick Perry's an aggie too. In their own minds, they think A&M is on the level of more elite universities.

I hate UT as well but shaggybevo is a much more entertaining site.
