2006 SWAC Baseball All-Tournament Team Announced



The Southwestern Athletic Conference announced its all-tournament team following the conclusion of the 2006 SWAC Baseball Tournament.

Prairie View?s Joshua Terrell was named Most Outstanding Player of the tournament. Terrell, a 5-11, 165 pound junior from Houston, had a career performance by positing two wins and a save in three relief appearances. The left-handed hurler recorded a 1.35 ERA and eight strikeouts in 6.2 innings of relief and held opponents to a .143 batting average.

Alcorn State?s Marcus Davis was named Most Outstanding Hitter as he concluded the week with a .458 batting average over 24 at-bats. He had 11 hits, four doubles and three triples with nine runs batted in and two stolen bases

Mississippi Valley State?s Danny Hall was named Most Outstanding Pitcher as he struck out 10 batters and allowed no earned runs in his appearance in the tournament. He held opposing batters to a .094 average while surrendering three hits in nine innings.

I agree on the Revis play......................But it couldn't have gotten on ESPN cause all the tv cameras left after Valley played.....lol:lol: :lol: :lol:
