Spelman College Considering Admitting Transgendered Students



They will have to let them soon anyway. the courts have spoken and it is clear that in the courts opinion, your gender at birth is not important. The gender you identify with currently is.
 
Gender-specific schools have become obsolete anyway. It's been more about tradition. Honestly, I'd hate to see men at Spelman and women at Morehouse, but this has been coming down the pike for a long time. The Citadel has been accepting women. MUW (MS Univ. for Women) has accepted men for the past 20 years. They even have fraternities there now.

Then they need to change their requirements to female born or something of that nature. The same with the all male schools.
I've yet to see a female trans trying to join a fraternity especially, but all these transgenders trying to join a sorority.
