Jackson State's athletic department saw an increase of more than $1.2 million in revenues last year, according to a USA TODAY report released on Monday.

The increase was the second-highest among SWAC schools (Alabama State's revenues increased by $1.5 million).

$1.2 million rise in 6 months............... Took over running and the profits from Memorial in July of 2011. Don't know if this is counting money donated to athletics or not. Can't wait to see what a full year of planning and running Memorial will bring in. :tup:
