President of Liberia visits Texas Southern University

HOUSTON -- While visiting Houston to meet with petroleum sector executives for possible partnerships, Liberia’s first female president, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf , visited the campus of Texas Southern University Saturday, April 22, 2012. Johnson is also an honorary member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Pop33, Texas Southern is federally designated as a National Transportation Center of Excellence for Petro-chemical transportation (NTCOE-P) by the Department of Homeland Security.

I think that is playing a part in the overall scheme of things as well.
