HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
NASA administrator Charles Bolden stopped by Alabama A&M Tuesday during a visit to the Valley.
Bolden toured The Hill and spoke to engineering students about the university's mentor-protege agreement with Aerojet Rocketdyne and NASA.
The students shared success stories and showcased their work.
Bolden then told them why he feels Alabama A&M is a great choice for the program.
"I came here because of the potential that resides on this campus, and we really, sincerely, want Alabama A&M to be one of our key contractors, and we know you can do it," said NASA administrator Charles Bolden .
The event was part of a NASA initiative, to create and sustain working relationships between the agency's prime contractors and colleges that serve minority students.
