MJ please SHUT THE F@CK UP

What's the difference between Jordan and all of them?

Nothing but his color. He is black. You think no kids got jacked when FUBU was in vogue or Phat Farm or any of the black influenced fashions? Again, we are a materialistic society. Jordan is not at fault for stupidity, ignorance and just flat out disregard for human life.

Part of me still believes that was a hit. Jordan was a habitual gambler and some even believe his 1993 "retirement" was more of a suggested gambling rehab.

But who knows.

Them dumb mofos didn't carry out no hit. LOL. The Mafia don't be that messy. And they would have sent a bigger message than that. Plus Jordan wouldn't have been dumb enough not to PAY his gambling debts anyway. And how do you go to gambling rehab while playing minor league baseball. The media don't love Jordan that much that they let that one slide. They would have torn him down like they have done other ICONs if they had the chance. Still will do it. Ask Bill Cosby.

We're not talking about FUBU or Phat Fram right now. We're talking about Jordan and his decision to remain silent while folks were being killed over his shoes in his city.

The message was conveyed properly, as it would and should be by any of us. It should've been played down the middle. We don't want to see cops murdered and we for damned sure don't want to see anymore black males murdered either. MF'ers have murdered us for well over 400+ years in in this rancid assed country and it's been time for it to stop. smh

The problem with a down-the-middle statement is that it's already universally accepted that murdering cops is a bad thing, one that generally results in legal ramifications (or being blown up by robots). It's the continued murder, assault, and other acts of terror committed disproportionately against blacks at all levels of the criminal justice system linked to systemic racism (opposed to "racial tensions" as MJ put it), actions that more often than not have no real consequence, which mainstream America doesn't seem to believe is equally bad that's the issue. These things can't be equivocated.

Man, you think the Chicago gangsters were going to stop killing? Were you mad at the Bulls for selling Jordan Jerseys for all that money? You know kids got killed for them as well. But they get a pass because?

Just say you don't like Mike and move on. Dude did a lot of good stuff. Actually helped raise money for Norfolk State at the annual Tim Reid Golf Tourney Tim used to have. Thats how me and my Navy boys met MJ. Folks just want him to be some major spokesman for us. But if the President of the U.S. being black can't stop the killings in Chicago. Then who can? Maybe the folks who actually live in the HOOD themselves. And the kids are still getting killed for more or less than some Air Jordans in Chicago. But I guess we can blame that on him as well even though he aint lived in Chicago in decades.

Do you think Jordan loves black folks?

Yep. He shole hired a bunch in his organization. Aint like he surrounded himself with whites. As a matter of fact, it was widely known he would only let folks like Ahmad Rashad get exclusive interviews with him. None of the white reporters got that close to him. His security was headed by a Black Chicago Police Officer. His crew was always black athletes and such. His closest friends are brothers. The dude that made his dress shirts is a brother. He put that brother on to getting other clients.

Jordan is catching side eyes now because back when a North Carolina democratic was running for office against a racist republican contender Jordan declined claiming "Republicans wear sneakers too".

Apparently Jordan didn't say that according to a story published in the Undefeated.

You sound dumb as rocks, you know that, right?

Here is a rebuttal to that claim.

For two decades, Jordan has been saddled with a quote attributed to him by an anonymous friend in former Chicago Tribune NBA writer Sam Smith’s 1995 book, The Second Coming, that he didn’t support Gantt because “Republicans buy sneakers, too.” In a later book, Smith said it was a joke, not a political statement and that he felt badly about the backlash Jordan received. But a spokeswoman for Jordan said he denies ever using those words. And a 1996 Charlotte Observer story lists a $4,000 campaign donation made from Jordan to Gantt for his second Senate race.

I think Kareen Abdul Jabbar summed it up best on MSNBC concerning MJ's recent comments on violence. His interview on CNN New Day was better, but the video hasn't been uploaded yet. On CNN New Day, Kareem basically said MJ was torn between, what to say, how to say it, and when to say it. Per Kareem, MJ is scared that he might alienate some of those who like him.

Y'all have to remember, MJ has two sons that the average White person wouldn't know who they were unless they told them. I'm sure his sons have experienced some form of racism when they are not with their dad.

When his sons were at school in Orlando, UCF sent out a bulletin to campus security....basically saying if you see these two young Black men in an expensive car, don't ufck with them.
