I went to AGS board and stumbled on a thread called " WHAT FCS NEEDS" started by a Georgia Southern fan.

Read his opening comment. Then jump to page 9 and start reading the comments when the playoff and FCS discussion turn to the SWAC, IVY, AND MEAC. Lol

NDSU posters want us out of fcs but the other schools posters are on his ass. Lol

Its actually a very informing thread on what these other schools really have and think. It is a love / hate thing for fcs and the playoffs.

IMHO some of the FCS schools have budgets similar to the FBS. I believe the NCAA should take that in to consideration when determining whether or not your are an FBS or FCS program.

I see no one mentioned how much debt is incurred to participate in the FCS playoffs? That, in my opinion, is the main hindrance. Why go to a playoff if you are going to go into the red? Just to say you went? It is not that crucial.
