Yolanda Wells-Brougton
Before her time at TCU, Wells-Broughton served as an assistant coach at Trinity Valley Community College for four seasons and was the head coach at Paul Quinn College in Dallas for two seasons.
Wells-Broughton earned a psychology degree from Grambling in 1995 and received a master?s in sports administration in 1997.
The Houston native earned All-Southwestern Athletic Conference honors while at Grambling after being named a Kodak All-American at Howard Junior College.
At Grambling, Wells-Broughton helped the Lady Tigers earn their first NCAA tournament bid in 1994.
?I am very excited about being here,? Wells-Broughton said. ?This is an opportunity of a lifetime to work with coach Chancellor, coach Starkey, Travis Mays and the entire LSU staff. I have always felt like this would be a dream job for me, and with coach Chancellor providing me with this opportunity, it is truly a blessing for me and my family.?
