Can we stop with the bad narrative of HBCUS

In the last 7 years, 104 colleges and universities in the U.S. have closed, merged, or have announced plans to. The majority have been due to financial issues and/or mismanagement of funds. Of that 104, only 1 was an HBCU (Concordia College/Selma, AL). Stop acting like HBCUs are the ones that are bad with money. In fact, it’s a testament to how well they operate with them being chronically underfunded.
