Alabama State University forensic science students Brittnie Hanley and Latisha Franklin recently received honors at major research conferences.
Hanley, an undergraduate student, received the 2016 Emerging Research National (ERN) Conference Travel Award. She will present her award-winning forensic research work, “Chemical Interaction between the Forensic Drug Cocaine and Gold Nanoparticles,” at the ERN Conference in STEM, in Washington, D.C., February 25-27, 2016. The Emerging Research National Conference is hosted by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
