Alabama A&M no longer on list of dangerous campuses


That list would have never seen the light of day if channel 12 and 48 didn't slap it all upside their facebook pages. smh.
 

Dr. Hugine threatened a lawsuit and the entire list was changed in a week. LOL .... That lets you know the list was fabricated... Now Oakwood of all places is on the list!

He (in a professional manner lol) snapped on those folks. It took a total of about 72 hours from the time he posted his open letter to the publication offering a public apology and correcting the list.

This list was based on the formerly flawed list from another publication. There were errors with the statistical analysis of the previous list, our president (after consulting with researchers on an off campus) called the publication on the errors and they were corrected. The publication notified (according to them) all other publications that cited their research to alert them of the corrections.

The original publication reached out to everyone that cited their article. If his website doesn't change it, that is on him. I do not listen to or support Tom Joyner, personally.
 

A&M has so much wildlife deer,groundhogs,snakes,rabbits,racoons,coyotes,geese,etc! the skunks are still there but the Deer are trying to take over late at night...

they roam the quad late at night and love drinking water at legacy lake and the pond in front of the engineering building! I didn't believe it until someone from SWAT put pictures on their Instagram account...it looked like they ere having a party

as far as the list that potential lawsuit from Pres. Hugine made them unrank us real quick! he won more favor with the students for that letter about protecting AAMU's brand
 
Dang we got deer on the yard now? Better be glad I ain't up there no more. We'd be eating good in Hopkins hall. lol :D
 
Yes Cee come up to campus between 2am and 5 am before sun rise and it will be deer running around from out of the moutain by campus ...that part across from Chase. The deer have figured out the 2 ponds on campus and drink from them late at night...that whole chapman mountain area span is full of deer according to my former co worker who is a redneck and loves to hunt! so they coming over to campus now
