2015 SWAC Basketball Signings (Early & Late)

What paper you looking at....we return EVERY player... Didn't have a Senior on the team... Return swac leading scorer, rebounder, and assist man. We will be good this year then back to worry next year because we have a huge Senior class this year.
Y'all have been underachieving. The last time that A&M was a force in the SWAC was when Obbie Trotter was there. Y'all coaching is also suspect.

Man, we need to beat the hell out of some OOC foes so we can get some good seeds and maybe more than one team in the NCAA tournament. All of this who spits the farthest in the SWAC is passe'.

Pretty much need to start scheduling more mid majors instead of the teams ranked in the Top 25.

Mike Davis has said he wants to play the top teams as it helps with recruiting and with preparation for conference play. He feels that if he beats a couple of them it would boost their profile more than beating a lesser-regarded school.

We did fairly well OOC as a conference last season but we need more teams to do well or at least be competitive. We have to get outside of our confort zone. Our coaches need to step up and stop being out coached. Talent is a big part (we all know that) but coaching can win some games for you OOC. Getting our guys to not fear playing out of SWAC is a big step too.

Having Mike Davis as your coach is a big help. He's obviously coached at some bigger schools and has always been known to be a very good coach. Most teams in the SWAC either have coaching but not that much talent or vice versa.

We kicked your arse last year in Montgomery... and lost by 3 in Huntsville after losing a late lead.

The only school that should be poking their chest out is TX Southern and maybe Southern. Bama State should never talk about underachieving. You have some the best talent in the major men sports (football, basketball, and baseball) every year, but fail to seal the deal with a SWAC championship. When you start winning championships, then start poking your chest out about signing classes. Your women sports and other non revenue sports can poke their chests out, lol......

i feel good about Grambling's recruiting class, alot of JUCO help coming in
For the first time since the early 2000's, I am excited to see what our recruits are going to do. We have added some size and scorers, I think we are 2 years away, but next season will be much better than last season.
